This strategic research center for Indonesian Palm Oil Research Center (PPPKS) is the result of extension and adaptation to an existing old office building. New structures are built at the rear part and side part of the original office building. An atrium space roofed with glass panels between the new and the old serves as point of orientation as well as social interaction space among researchers and staff.
A pair of corner rectangular monochromatic tower flank the old building, giving it a grandeur gesture and importance as one of Indonesia’s premier research center in bio-technology.
