Manokwari Evangelical Church

This church building is dominated by its roof. The form of the roof is derived from the combination of the shape of Jesus Christ opening arm of compassion with the triangular shape represents the trinity concept in Christianity. The compelling and commanding form of this unique roof stands as a prominent identity of the church. A long balcony encircles the four sides of the church, serving as communal and social space for the church visitors.
